CFC
rated tournaments at the Burlington chess club. Your first visit to our club is free.
A club membership is not required to play in tournaments, but a
CFC membership
is. The
CFC rating fee
for each
tournament is $4.00.The nightly club fee
is $4.00 or $15.00 if paid at the start of a 5 round tournament.
You need arrive by 7:15 P.M. to get a pairing. Clock start time for tournament games is 7:30 P.M. sharp
and time control is
1 hour and 45 minutes each. Players who want to play in a tournament that's already started
can join and get up to two 1/2 point byes.
Players not CFC rated are
encouraged to participate at our club.See schedule.
